Chemical Peel

A superficial chemical peel is the least invasive type of chemical peel for skin resurfacing. The peeling agents used in this type of peel penetrate only the outermost skin layer to correct minor to mild skin concerns with little recovery time and risk of undesirable side effects.

What is a Chemical Peel?

A chemical peel is a non-surgical procedure to enhance your facial appearance including reducing the signs of ageing, decreasing mild scarring, age spots and freckles and improving the texture and colour of your skin.

Is it Painful?

During the application of the peel, you may experience a moderate burning sensation to the skin, these are superficial peels aimed to cause less trauma so that they can be part of clients skin routines and used more regularly with minimal downtime.

After a light chemical peel, you may experience mild irritation and dryness.

You can typically wear makeup the following day and resume your normal skin care activities, like cleansing and moisturising.

It will most likely take between 1 to 7 days for your skin to fully heal.

How often should i have a Chemical Peel?

A superficial chemical peel can be repeated every 2-5 weeks depending on skin concerns and desired outcomes.
